Somtochukwu is an energetic and expressive boy who enjoys football, singing, and dancing. He’s the third of four children and currently attends a government secondary school. His brother accompanied him to the interview, even leaving work briefly—because this opportunity means so much to their family.
His father is a pastor, and his mother runs a small drugstore. Their church supports family rent. With his older sibling unable to continue school, Somtochukwu’s parents are determined to keep him moving forward, even if it means stretching every resource they have.
