Her Story

Aliyah is the eldest of three children and a naturally responsible girl. She enjoys dancing and reading and often helps take care of her younger siblings. Her education was paused for two years due to lack of funds, but she’s now back in a public school. Her family lives in a room and parlour, with rent paid mostly by her father, a driver. Her mother works hard as a cleaner, and extended family sometimes chip in to help them stay afloat.

Aliyah’s return to school has reignited her dreams. With support, she can keep learning and thriving.
