Darasimi has faced overwhelming challenges, having lost both parents early in life. She now lives with her uncle’s family in a difficult community surrounded by drug addicts and sex workers. The household struggles financially, and Darasimi was at risk of homelessness and dangerous influences.
Since joining the Kids-Off-The-Street (KOTS) Shelter, Darasimi has found safety and hope. She is thriving academically in Junior Secondary School and is determined to build a better future through education.
