Akarachi is the youngest of ten children, growing up in a small shanty without windows, doors, or safe sanitation. With her father sick and away, her mother works hard to care for the family on her own.
Even with so many challenges, Akarachi shines. She loves math and singing, and she dreams of one day becoming a nurse so she can help others.
