Lekan grew up helping his widowed mother survive by hawking on the streets. With no support from extended family, life was tough—he faced the dangers of child labor and exposure to drugs.
Thankfully, he was rescued and brought into the Kids-Off-The-Street (KOTS) Shelter, where he now has a chance at a brighter future. Lekan is determined and full of hope, dreaming of becoming a professional footballer someday.
